DEMS has been awarded the prestigious three-year 'Marco Fanno' Fellowship for the second time

We are proud to announce that our Department is one of the two Italian Economics Departments to win the seventh edition of the Marco Fanno Fellowship competition, organized by the UniCredit Foundation in memory of economist Marco Fanno. This prestigious award recognizes top economics and finance departments in Italian state universities by funding a tenure track Assistant Professorship (RTDB/RTT) position.

Tommaso Rigon riceives the prestigious Mitchell Prize and Blackwell & Rosenbluth Award

The International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA), jointly with the Bayesian Statistical Section of the American Statistical Association, has awarded Tommaso Rigon, assistant professor in our department, the Mitchell Prize in recognition of his "outstanding paper that describes how a Bayesian analysis has solved an important applied problem."

The junior section of ISBA has also awarded Tommaso Rigon the Blackwell-Rosenbluth Award for his "overall contribution to the field and to the community."
